Mandarinku — Privacy Policy

Mandarinku is a Mandarin learning app designed for young children (ages 4–8). This privacy policy explains how the app handles data.

Data Collection

Mandarinku does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app works entirely offline. No internet connection is required or used.

Data Stored Locally

The app stores the following data only on your device, never on any server:

Learning progress (stars, XP, badges, mastered words)
App preferences (speech rate, parental control settings)
Parental control PIN

This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the app.

Children's Privacy

Mandarinku is designed for children under 13. We do not collect any personal information from children. No accounts, registration, or login are required to use the app.

Third-Party Services

The app uses Android's built-in Text-to-Speech engine for audio playback. This is a system service provided by Google on your device. No data is sent to any third-party server by Mandarinku.

Mandarinku contains no advertisements.
